Hudson High-Oleic Sunflower Oil

About this oil

Why kitchens run sunflower oil

Produced from non-GM sunflower seed and refined to a pale, almost colorless oil, Hudson High-Oleic Sunflower Oil runs at 460°F with a low absorption rate, so portions come out lighter and less greasy. Kitchens typically get 1.5 to 2 times the fry life of a straight commodity oil, which offsets the higher cost per gallon on total oil spend. Popular with premium QSR, kettle-chip and snack producers, and with operators who need an allergen-friendly, clean-label oil on the ingredient deck.
